 Derek has extensive experience in managing complex leasing projects, working exclusively as a tenant advocate for over a decade. Prior to the formation of Tactix in 1997, Derek worked with Sal Ambrosio and Jud Wambold at Julien J. Studley, Inc. He joined Sal and Jud in their new venture. Derek has worked on almost every major account to flow through Tactix, including the world headquarters projects for Sunoco, Day & Zimmermann, FMC, Kulicke & Soffa and The John Templeton Foundation. In addition to his regional experience, Derek has served as project leader for several of Concord EFS' national requirements (now First Data/KKR) and leads a number of projects for an industry leading CRO, including office, clinical and laboratory requirements from Montreal to Honolulu.
Derek graduated summa cum laude from Temple University and went on to receive his J.D. from Widener University School of Law. He is a member of
the Philadelphia Bar Association; Real Property Section, the Brehon Law Society of Philadelphia, and he is a board member of the Young Professionals
Network of the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce.
